Sell Everything; the Lord is coming!

Several times in my life we have seen where cult type groups have sold everything because they got word from their leader that the Lord was returning on a certain day.  I tried to google some of them but there were too many to even comment on as far as this article is concerned. We have all seen on the news where they sold everything and were standing on the beach waiting to be taken away or waiting for a UFO to come and suck them up or what ever. What I found is that one of their biggest mistakes is that they had their timing off so I would like to give you the right time to sell everything and wait for the Lord.

There was one group that did have it right. They actually sold many of their possessions and helped those that were less fortunate. They prayed everyday and met together for dinner. They listened to God’s teaching and read the scriptures. Many were added to their group everyday. Finally society rejected them and began to persecute them. Then a great civil war erupted and their city was suddenly surrounded by various local and foreign armies. They even saw signs in the sky and felt earthquakes in various places. Then the foreign armies camped out in Armageddon.  Finally the end came and any Christian that was left disappeared. They actually had the timing correct and was raptured into heaven with Jesus. That was the only group that had the correct timing. It happened between the years AD 30-70. Most of this is recorded in the New Testament and in other writings such as Josephus et al.
